Dolly
The Dolly relaunch is significant for Bauer as it’s the first traditional magazine title that is now digitally led. We understand that this audience are constantly on social media on their mobile phones snacking on content 100 times a day. Dolly has the highest percentage of mobile traffic across our network so taking a mobile first approach for design and build is critical.
We conducted some user testing with a group of Dolly readers to test the layout and designs before proceeding with build. As this product is digitally led, some of our digital design work has made it over to the new magazine design as well.
I worked very closely with the development team and Product Managers to get the best build result possible and the business stakeholders are thrilled with the results.
